JBoss start up problem

Hi Friends,

I am using JBoss4.2.2.
I am facing problem in starting server.I am using Windows Vista.
whenever i start server with command

JBoss4.4.2GA/bin>run -c default

It just go blank and do nothing and come again to same prompt.I am really confused.I have checked my classpaths and re-installed JDK twice but result is still same.

Can anybody please help me or give me some clues to trouble shoot this problem on Vista.

You probably haven't set the JAVA_HOME correctly. What does

echo %JAVA_HOME%

from the same command prompt, show?

Since there is an installation of java on the users system so I would expect the JAVA_HOME to be taken automatically from the PATH variable, IIRC.
Let us see the server.log files.

If the above suggestions do not help, comment out the "echo off" statement at the start of run.bat, run it again, and post the full output in the command prompt window.
