That looks like you are building the EAP server and not running it. What exactly do you want to do?

by the way thank you for replying...
I am a newbie to these concepts.. Actually i need to install JMS and make a messaging queue.. So i downloaded JBoss EAP 6.1, JBoss EAP 6.1 maven Repository and its quick starts.

i followed the instructions and some how configured it., and now i am stuck with thz..

If you want to run a JavaEE application there is no need to compile the server. You can use the zip file and unpack it.

Remember that the EAP is only free for development (not for production use without a subscription).

To install and manage the server you should read this documentation

To start with the EE development you can use the quickstarts and the Oracle tutorials.

Also you can use the community quickstarts which using the public maven repository, in this case you will have less problems to configure maven.

just bit of correction, non alpha builds of EAP are free only of development, alpha ones have no restrictions.
