Switch to Atmosphere 2 ?

Atmosphere 2.0.1 is available, i.e. a final release and not a beta. Additionally the WebSockets spec for JavaEE is supported by Atmosphere 2. Therefore, I'm wondering whether RichFaces will switch from WebSockets 1.x to 2.x. Any comments from the developers are appreciated.

Thanks for the interest juergen.zimmermann. The Atmosphere upgrade (and switch to using web sockets) is being tracked by RF-13190.
