How to prevent a message entering JBOSS fuse ESB by checking its size

HI,

I want to know what is the best way to prevent messages entering Jboss Fuse Esb by checking its size and putting constraint on size.

I used object stream to check the size, but Couldn't figure right way to implement.

What do you mean by "entering" JBoss Fuse. Can you tell more about which technology you refer to, eg is it ActiveMQ queues, Web Services, Or something else?

Hi, I want for all possible scenarios for eg. Entering ActiveMq queue from JMS source or Web Service, another is using Processor node From Active MQ queue.

For the CXF message, you actually can set the system property like

        "org.apache.cxf.stax.maxChildElements";

        "org.apache.cxf.stax.maxElementDepth";

        "org.apache.cxf.stax.maxAttributeCount";

        "org.apache.cxf.stax.maxAttributeSize";

        "org.apache.cxf.stax.maxTextLength";

        "org.apache.cxf.stax.maxElementCount";

        "org.apache.cxf.stax.maxXMLCharacters";

to control the message size.
