Teiid 8.6 Beta 1 - Hive Translator - Importer Properties

I was trying to use the one of the Importer Properties but the Hive Translator seems to ignore it. The property I was trying to use was importer.excludeTables. I was under the impression that the importer properties are being used by all translator?

I compared the JDBCMetdataProcessor with the HiveMetadataProcessor and noticed the HiveMetadataProcessor did not implement the excludeTables properties. Is this something that can be fixed?

I did try fixing it myself but it doesn't seems any of the importer properties are set for the HiveMetadataProcessor. Could someone point me to the right direction?

Andy,

You are correct, the Hive translator did not implement any of the import properties as JDBC Translators did. You can open an enhancement JIRA, we will fix it.

It does have that property because of inheritance, but because of how the logic is overriden the enforcement of excludeTables never happens.  Yes, this is something that can be addressed.  Can you log an issue?
