1. Re: Weld 2.2.0.Alpha1 released!
juergen.zimmermann Feb 5, 2014 4:17 AM (in response to jharting)Jozef, is it possible (and not too complicated) to upgrade the latest WildFly snapshot to Weld 2.2.0.Alpha1 ?

jharting Feb 5, 2014 4:46 AM (in response to juergen.zimmermann)We are going to do this post WildFly 8 Final. However, you can do it easily yourself. Just run:
mvn clean install -f jboss-as/pom.xml -Pupdate-jboss-as -Dweld.update.version=2.2.0.Alpha1
in Weld repo.

4. Re: Weld 2.2.0.Alpha1 released!
lucasvc Feb 19, 2014 3:25 AM (in response to jharting)I'm migrating from CDI-1.0 to 1.1, but I began when
weld-2.1.2.Final
was released (three weeks ago). Today, I realized that CDI will have a "minor" release update (1.2), and weld-2.2, which is focused in performance (one of the main goals of upgrading), will be based on this version. How "hard" will be the upgrading from 1.1 to 1.2? Should I reconsider and upgrade directly to 1.2 instead of 1.1?
Thanks.

5. Re: Weld 2.2.0.Alpha1 released!
jharting Feb 20, 2014 8:48 AM (in response to lucasvc)Yes, I would recommend that. The upgrade path from CDI 1.1 to CDI 1.2 will be very straightforward.

6. Re: Weld 2.2.0.Alpha1 released!
lucasvc Feb 20, 2014 8:56 AM (in response to jharting)I assume "that" means upgrade to 1.1, and later upgrade to 1.2, right?
Thanks again.
