Error when installing KIE-WB.

Hello,

I run:

• ant install.demo
• ant start.demo
• ant install.dashboard.into.jboss
• ant install.demo.noeclipse
• ant start.demo.noeclipse

At the end of each command, I obtained a successful message !!!!.

When I opened up the process management console:  http://localhost:8383/jbpm-console

--->I got an error message: Error.jpg

knowing that the file standalone existing in  C:\jbpm-installer\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration is standalone.xml

Please help.

Can you please share the content of your server.log file inside <jboss_as7>/standalone/logs/server.log ?

Please use pastebin.com or something similar.

Hi Saria,

It seems that you are trying to start multiple application servers at once. Make sure that you kill all the instances before starting a new one.

Also try removing this directory: C:\jbpm-installer\.index\ (only the .index)

Make sure that you don't have any other service in the ports that jboss uses. I do belive that all the bind already exceptions are because you started the server multiple times without properly shutting it down.

Finally, try removing the server.log file that you attached and start the application server again to have a fresh log and attach it here again to see if the problem persist.

Everything seems to be fine now..

did you try accessing the application ->via http://localhost:8080/kie-drools-wb-distribution-wars-6.0.0-20131217.023537-678-jboss-as7.0/

If you want to access the app via: http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console you will need to rename the kie-drools-wb-wars.. to jbpm-console-ng.war  but .. notice that the war that you are deploying is not the jbpm console is the drools workbench only the rules side..

But, I would like to obtain KIE Workbench as described by    KIE Workbench.jpg

The KIE Workbench has new features compared to Drools Workbench (As You say in Barcelone Workshop: Drools + jBPM == Platform (KIE))

.  That's why I based on this tutorial

   to obtain KIE Workbench; but as you know I don't... .

.  In other way,

   To obtain KIE Workbench, I deployed kie-wb-distribution-wars-6.1.0-20140303.221311-139-jboss-as7.war as presented in       JBossManagement.jpg

   But, when I want to enable it, I recieve this message ErrorMessage.txt

Knowing that the file server.log is server.log

I feel confused, I don't know what's missing ?!!!!?.

Please help!!!.

so just remove the kie-drools-wb... war from your deployments.. you don't need to deploy what

• I removed the file server.log
  
• I restart the machine
• I tried to  Enable   kie-wb-...-jboss-as7.0.war  (it takes several minutes) !!!.

        ---> Unfortunately, I recieved the same error message as published previously  !.

• When I tried accessing to this url:     http://localhost:8383/kie-wb-distribution-wars-6.1.0-20140303.221311-139-jboss-as7/

       ---> I obtained an error like presented by KIE Workbench.jpg

1) Download jBPM full installed from :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jbpm/files/jBPM%206/jbpm-6.0.1.Final/jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer-full.zip/download

2) Extract it and install using install.demo and run ANT start.demo

for more information visit - Chapter 3. jBPM Installer

3) Go to jbpm-6.0.1.Final-installer-full\jbpm-installer\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\deployments folder.

And see jbpm-console.war file is available or not.

4) After starting jboss this war file will be deployed, so wait and check jbpm-console.war.deployed is available or not.

5) Now try to access KIE-WB from browser - http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console/org.kie.workbench.KIEWebapp/KIEWebapp.html

Hi,

Finally, I resolved the problem !.

As you saw Sir Salaboy I had a problem of port, I forgot that I installed oracle which the default port is 8080; in this case, I changed the port of oracle.

Then, I encountered an other problem described by this file    :server.log

When I googled, I found that I should change the timeout only in the file  standalone.xml,    but, I obtained the same error !.

I tied to change the timeout in all these files:

• C:\jBPM-installer-6.0.1\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration    :standalone.xml
• C:\jBPM-installer-6.0.1\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration    :standalone-full.xml
• C:\jBPM-installer-6.0.1\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration    :standalone-full-ha.xml
• C:\jBPM-installer-6.0.1\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration    :standalone-ha.xml
• C:\jBPM-installer-6.0.1\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration\standalone_xml_history    :standalone-full.boot.xml
• C:\jBPM-installer-6.0.1\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration\standalone_xml_history    :standalone-full.initial.xml
• C:\jBPM-installer-6.0.1\jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\configuration\standalone_xml_history    :standalone-full.last.xml

As result, It is working well  !!!.
