How to make EJB client interactive

When i deploy my bean and run my client in the command prompt i would like to give some input which the client takes and updates in the database using the server bean. When I give the input the command prompt just hangs and does nothing. Please help me out in this.

Your question has nothing to do with J2EE or JBoss, you should find a beginers forum somewhere for Java.
