JBDS Workspace Problem When Creating a Fuse Project

Hi,

     This is my very first attempt to create a Fuse Project in JBDS 7.1.1. I'm encountering the following error upon project creation (without creating anything under this project):

Errors occurred during the build.

Errors running builder 'Maven Project Builder' on project 'simple-route'.

How do I resolve the above error?

pom.xml now shows the following number of errors after I set the proxy in settings.xml:

Are you using a computer on a network that requires HTTP proxy to access the internet?

As mentioned earlier, I'd added the proxy setting (although this was not necessary to install the Fuse Tools) to settings.xml and this helped to reduce the errors, but I still got the following errors:

The URL Index of /repositories/fs-releases is ok when I tried to access manually but not http://repo.fusesource.com/nexus/content/repositories/releases/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-resources-plugin/2.6/maven…

Any more thoughts on this issue?

I also tried to create a Fuse project on my home network that does not require proxy settings but the errors still occurred:

There seems to be something wrong with the URL http://repo.fusesource.com/nexus/content/repositories/releases/org/apache/maven/plugins/maven-resources-plugin/2.6/maven…

That maven-resource-plugin 2.6 is from maven central. And that repo is enabled out of the box in maven. So wonder why it does not attempt to download it from that repo.

If you have maven installed in your command prompt. Then you can try from there. Also m2eclipse may have a preference where you can configure its maven repositories. And maybe somehow maven central is not listed.
