1. Re: Installing FAB in JBoss Fuse 6.1
janstey Apr 8, 2014 12:30 PM (in response to yuri.sokolovski)This is fixed in the GA candidate version 6.1.0.redhat-379:
We are deprecating FAB though in this release in favour of plain OSGi bundles. It may be removed in a later release.
Cheers,
Jon

yuri.sokolovski Apr 8, 2014 1:57 PM (in response to janstey)Thanks, I'll try that version.
RE: deprecating FABs - Sorry to hear that... We would like to use FABs to simplify our development process. There are many cases when bundles are not available for thrid-party libraries and FAB seems like a perfect fit for these cases...Without FABs we would need to convert such libraries into bundles and wrap scheme doesn't seem to always help due to versioning clashes.

3. Re: Installing FAB in JBoss Fuse 6.1
janstey Apr 8, 2014 2:14 PM (in response to yuri.sokolovski)So in our case when 3rd party libraries do not provide OSGi metadata we use bundles from the Apache ServiceMix Bundles project:
http://servicemix.apache.org/developers/source/bundles-source.html
The Bundles project contains OSGi-ified versions of many 3rd party dependencies. For instance, one of the more recent additions has been the Spring Framework, since they no longer produce any OSGi metadata with their releases. Don't hesitate to approach the ServiceMix community for such bundles as it is likely other people would benefit from having them as well :-)
Cheers,
Jon
