mrebasti Jun 2, 2014 12:38 PM (in response to galder.zamarreno)Galder,
Thanks for the response. The atributes in my example are well placed? With the atribute names rack and site I'm still getting the error:
Message: JBAS014788: Unexpected attribute 'rack' encountered
at org.jboss.as.controller.parsing.ParseUtils.unexpectedAttribute(ParseUtils.java:105) [jboss-as-controller-7.2.0.Final.jar:7.2.0.Final]
at org.jboss.as.clustering.infinispan.subsystem.InfinispanSubsystemXMLReader_7_0.parseTransport(InfinispanSubsystemXMLReader_7_0.java:192)
at org.jboss.as.clustering.infinispan.subsystem.InfinispanSubsystemXMLReader_7_0.parseContainer(InfinispanSubsystemXMLReader_7_0.java:132)
at org.jboss.as.clustering.infinispan.subsystem.InfinispanSubsystemXMLReader_7_0.readElement(InfinispanSubsystemXMLReader_7_0.java:48)
For what I can see, InfinispanSubsystemXMLReader_7_0.parseTransport isn't expecting any of these atributes. I'm looking the source code here: infinispan/server/integration/infinispan/src/main/java/org/jboss/as/clustering/infinispan/subsystem/InfinispanSubsystemX…

3. Re: Re: How to configure ServerHinting in Infinispan Server?
vbchin2 Jun 2, 2014 7:30 PM (in response to mrebasti)If you look up the file: infinispan-server-7.0.0.Alpha4/docs/schema/jboss-as-jgroups_1_2.xsd you would see the following snippet.
<xs:attribute name="site" type="xs:string"> <xs:annotation> <xs:documentation>Identifies the site where this node runs.</xs:documentation> </xs:annotation> </xs:attribute> <xs:attribute name="rack" type="xs:string"> <xs:annotation> <xs:documentation>Identifies the rack where this node runs.</xs:documentation> </xs:annotation> </xs:attribute> <xs:attribute name="machine" type="xs:string"> <xs:annotation> <xs:documentation>Identifies the machine where this node runs.</xs:documentation> </xs:annotation> </xs:attribute>
So essentially you are setting the rack and site attributes in the wrong subsystem, they should go under JGroups subsystem.
Please look the following lines shown here as an example, just to show where all <transport> elements can be defined:
In conclusion, the rack and site attributes go to transport element of the JGroups configuration.

mrebasti Jun 3, 2014 10:19 AM (in response to vbchin2)Thanks! configuring the atributes in the JGroups subsystem works fine.
