rhusar Jul 11, 2014 9:54 AM (in response to nube)1 of 1 people found this helpfulIt looks like that either your network is discarding UDP multicast or your OS's firewall.

nube Jul 14, 2014 3:37 AM (in response to rhusar)How do I see if the UDP works? Is it something that I need to set up?
I am running on ubuntu server 2012 with no firewall yet (except if theres a build in one)

fharms Jul 14, 2014 1:23 PM (in response to nube)When we previous had issues with multicast if was typical because the switch did not allow multicast. JGroups has way to test if multicast is enable with a basic test program.
It might help you to determine if it's a network issue http://www.jgroups.org/manual/html/ch02.html#TestingTheSetup

4. Re: Wildfly cluster session not replicating
wdfink Jul 14, 2014 3:16 PM (in response to nube)If you look to your logfiles the server should log something like "cluster members : <a number>" which shows that your cluster has 1...x members.
If you see "1" for all nodes something went wrong

Then of course, you can switch your stack entirely to use TCP to avoid this issue. The nodes will not be able to use UDP multicast for discovery.

6. Re: Wildfly cluster session not replicating
nube Jul 15, 2014 7:28 AM (in response to rhusar)I am still having the issue, after rebuilding the cluster.
I think my next step will be to try the tcp. I will look around on the forum for instructions on how to do that.
Thanks guys
Have a great one
