1. Re: Disable database connection verify for CMP on deploy
aloubyansky May 5, 2004 3:44 AM (in response to nico1as)No. The datasource is the required service for CMP at deployment at the moment.

2. Re: Disable database connection verify for CMP on deploy
nico1as May 5, 2004 4:03 AM (in response to nico1as)So, at the moment, it's impossible to deploy an application if a database used by a CMP is down ?
Is there no way to check that the corresponding table exists in a database only when I start to use a CMP (not on deploy) ?
Thank you for your help.

aloubyansky May 5, 2004 4:40 AM (in response to nico1as)At the moment, there is no. We also use datasource 'to fix table name' specified in the jbosscmp-jdbc.xml. Meaning is the table name specified allowed to be used with this db.

patelcr Feb 22, 2005 5:15 PM (in response to nico1as)Hi,
I was wondering if there was any progress on this issue. I am also having a similar problem. I have two databases and different CMP beans accessing each one. If one of the databases is down, I don't want that to affect the beans using the other database. Currently, I also get java.lang.IllegalException : createBeanClassInstanceCommand == null . I am using JBoss 4.0.1
