introspect BPMN process variables and task outputs

Can I use the remote/REST interface in jBPM 6 to introspect a BPMN process and determine the data types of the defined process variables and task outputs?

as far as I know there will be operation available in 6.1 to fetch process definitions and then process definition will contain all variables including their data types. Similar to what you can see in kie-wb when viewing process definition details.
