I don't want to put the apache maven repo in the pom.xml for fear of conflicts with the iona one(s). This is the error I"m getting from 'mvn jetty:run':
The plugin 'org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-jetty6-plugin' does not exist or no valid version could be found
I'm VERY new to servicemix and fuse ESB and just trying to get the web interface up. It's very possible I'm barking up the wrong tree.
The solution to this issue is linked in the JIRA issue you noted above. You don't need to add a Maven repo at all. You simply need to remove the test scope from the Jetty dependency in the pom.xml for the servicemix-web sample as shown in the diff here:
The line with the hyphen means that that line should simply be removed.
