Is Fuse ESB a "Distributed ESB" like Artix?

I'm new to Fuse and want to find something open source "Distributed ESB" like Artix.

Is there even such a thing as a non-distributed ESB? ServiceMix/FUSE ESB provides the ability to be distributed across remote nodes because it uses ActiveMQ/FUSE Message Broker internally to do so.
