SAN recommendations

We are interested in using a SAN for message persistence to implement a shared filesystem master/slave (http://activemq.apache.org/shared-file-system-master-slave.html), most likely in a Linux environment.  The documentation recommends that the GFS filesystem be used over OCFS2, but beyond that I'm having trouble finding recommendations for SAN hardware/software.

Can anyone suggest SAN products that have worked well with ActiveMQ, or products that have not worked well?

Hi,

Most enterprise class SAN such as EMC's should work fine.  The important thing is that the SAN itself respects the file locks of the operating systems attached to it.
