1. Re: Activemq to Activemq Bridge?
davsclaus Apr 21, 2009 1:04 AM (in response to jamie3_james.archibald)Why are you using all the spring MethodInvokingFactoryBean?
Have you tried using without it?
You can use the tag to define an endpoint using spring property placeholders.
<endpoint id="topicSubscribeURI" uri="$"/>
Instead of all the MethodInvokingFactoryBean stuff.
And you should prefer to use the ActiveMQ component over the generic JMS component if the JMS broker is ActiveMQ. This component is optimized for AMQ.
And you could try changing the destination URI to a log endpoint to see if it can consume:
To help pint point what is wrong.

jamie3_james.archibald Apr 21, 2009 7:56 AM (in response to davsclaus)I used the MethodInvokingFactoryBean because I was just learning spring and didn't know about the . So messages are being sent, just not to the correct server.

3. Re: Activemq to Activemq Bridge?
davsclaus Apr 21, 2009 9:04 AM (in response to jamie3_james.archibald)If you have 2 AMQ servers you need 2 ActiveMQ components, each with their own borkerURL configuration to point to the IP of the server.

davsclaus Apr 21, 2009 9:05 AM (in response to davsclaus)Hi
Can you try positing your configuration again, maybe I have overlooked something. And I can get others to take a look as well.

davsclaus Apr 22, 2009 10:44 AM (in response to jamie3_james.archibald)But if you post it again the one you are currently using then its much easier for others to help as they can use your configuration while looking at the issue.

10. Re: Activemq to Activemq Bridge?
jamie3_james.archibald May 1, 2009 8:20 PM (in response to stlewis)i noticed your routes are as following:
are these topics or queues?
I also noticed it is being directed on the same machine (ie: the same JMS server). This is not the same as what I am doing. I am trying to route from one JMS server to another each on separate machines.
I will try your method and see if she works.
much thanks.
