again this questions about TAF.
What kind of programmatic support by the application (using CMP as wll as pure JDBC) is required to use JBoss 3.2.5 with Oracle 9i "Transparent Application Failover" feature.
I am using an appropriate TNSNames provided by my Oracle Administrator and the oci8 driver. Moreover I use the following entry in my oracle-ds.xml
<valid-connection-checker-class-name>
<check-valid-connection-sql>
<exception-sorter-class-name>
