How to set DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO.SET_CLIENT_INFO (Oracle) using JBOSS EAP 6.0.1

Hello,

To be able to effectively troubleshoot user queries from within my application, my DBA has requested that we include the user name as part of the call to Oracle using: DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO.SET_CLIENT_INFO

I have been unable to find a workable solution, and was wondering if this is possible, and if there is an example on how to do this?

OracleWhatever ow = connection.unwrap(OracleWhatever.class);

ow.blah();

}

You can use a <connection-listener> in WildFly for that...

Would you happen to have an example of that which I could mimic?  I am a server side programmer, but just getting into Server Config, etc - so I am not too sure on where to add the code, and what configuration would really be needed?

I.E. is there an interface that needs to be implemented for this to work, if so which one?

Or find a place in your app where you add the unwrap call after datasource.getConnection()
