How to customize graphical representation of process image specific to process instance in application?

Hi Team,

I am new to jbpm 6.1 and we are using jbpm console for designing process and triggering it using rest api.

I would like to customize the graphical representation of image in my application instead of using jbpm console to show execution status of node level.

Could any one suggest best way to implement it in the application.
