ExternalContext in WildFly?

We're currently using an ExternalContextMBean as described on the Wiki to load a serialized JNDI context. Does this work in WildFly?

That's not relevant to WildFly. There's a testcase (which has an example usage) within the WildFly code wildfly/ExternalContextBindingTestCase.java at master · wildfly/wildfly · GitHub, but I don't know if there's documentation about it.

You can bind an external context through the Naming subsystem configuration, see Global Bindings Configuration - WildFly 9 - Project Documentation Editor
