I want cutomize rich;fileupload component default image. We have requirement show different image while uploading.
Please help me how achive this.

there is no direct way the change the image, but you can change it through CSS, the plus sign is defined as the background-image of span.rf-fu-btn-cnt-add.
Can you please provide me syntax, how I can implement this.

This is just CSS, nothing to do with JSF.
You can set a styleClass for the fileUpload:
<rich:fileUpload styleClass="myClass" />
and then define a CSS rule:
.myClass .rf-fu-btn-cnt-add {
background-image: url(path/to/custom/image.gif);
}
