standalone.xml content is deleted automatically while restarting the server

Hi ,

Am using Jboss 7.1 version.

While restarting the Jboss server, half part of standalone.xml content is deleted automatically.

Could any one please help me on this ?

How does your standalone.xml look before and after? And how do you start the server?

Anyway I would recommend to use a newer version, like WildFly 8.

Thanks for you reply.

1. Before my standalone.xml file is having 390 lines. After restarting the server its having only 120 lines.

2. Am restarting the server through services.

3. Yes , i can go for WildFly 8 but still i want to know how this happened.

what is the difference? what is missing?

are you by any chance modifying standalone.xml while the server is running?
