Dynamic Clusters

Hi

We are planning to use Infinispan in Embedded mode in a Cloud env. Depending on the application load we might spin new clusters on the fly. Wanted to know how to configure Infinispan so that whenever a new cluster in spanned the existing cluster should discover it dynamically and sync the data immediately.

I guess you don't want to start a new cluster, just add new nodes to the existing cluster. This is rather a JGroups question, Infinispan just reacts on the fact that there are more nodes in the cluster. In JGroups, you want to look on the Discovery (*PING) protocols Reliable group communication with JGroups - there's quite a few cloud protocols (for AWS, Google Compute Enige, S3 etc.)
