Migrating from ModeShape 2.8.x

I found some information that for migrating ModeShape 2.8.4 will contain the backup functionality. But I can not find the Version 2.8.4.Final anywhere. Is there a different solution for migration?

It's something that we originally thought of, but never really came around to implementing. As such, there is no 2.8.4.Final version available nor will there be one, so the only option (which is limited in some ways) is to use JCR system export / import.
