jaikiran May 7, 2008 8:59 AM (in response to rishikesh_darandale)Since you are deploying this in a container managed environment, you will have to configure the persistence.xml to use a jta datasource. See this for more details http://docs.jboss.org/ejb3/app-server/reference/build/reference/en/html/entityconfig.html. It has a sample persistence.xml which uses < jta-data-source>

I do not want use datasource to connect the database, but want to use the JDBC properties to connect the database.
