Database connectivity using JBoss/Tomcat

Hi Guys

Can any body explain the detailed procedure to deploy a bean in Jboss/Tomcat using database connectivity.
Like 1. The files that to be included
2. Path settings ...
3. Properties setting (if any)

I am using Jboss under windows environment.

If possible send me a good example.
