1. Re: can I get OperatingSystem MBean info from CLI
mayerw01 Oct 22, 2016 7:05 AM (in response to hchenkwi)I think you are looking for a utility like twiddle (which is not availabe in WildFly anymore)
But you can check the twiddle-standalone GitHub - swesource/twiddle-standalone: A standalone version of the JMX tool of JBoss AS

hchenkwi Oct 25, 2016 9:20 AM (in response to mayerw01)Hi Wolfgang,
I used the jmxremote to connect to Wildfly, twiddle does give me some information about file descriptor and memory. I also want to look at the database connection pool MBean information, I printed out all the MBean types using command ./twiddle.sh query "*:*" , but I don't know which MBean type the database connection pool belongs to.
I know I can get database connection pool information from CLI, I'm trying to see if I can get all the information from one utility.
Is there anything I need to setup so I can get database connection pool information? or should I use different connection like port 9990 from admin console for twiddle?
Thanks, Helen

For such investigations it might be easier to check the MBeans via JConsole.
But to get the database pool information via twiddle you my take the jboss.as:subsystem=datasources,data-source={dataSourceName},statistics=pool
like: ./twiddle.sh -s service:jmx:remote+http://{hostName}:9990 -u {userName] -p {userPassord} get jboss.as:subsystem=datasources,data-source=MySQLTestDS,statistics=pool

hchenkwi Oct 26, 2016 9:55 AM (in response to mayerw01)Hi Wolfgang,
Thanks for your info. It works. I realized that JConsole bundled with Wildfly can show me the MBeans specific to Wildfly, that's the JConsole you mean. Originally I tried JConsole from java8, it does not have Wildfly MBean info.
Thanks again for your help,
Helen
