Issues receiving packets from an IP address ending in .0 (Class C)

Is Wildfly capable of receiving packets from an external IP address ending in .0  Any info would be mostappreciated

I don't see any reason why wouldn't it.

But I think it is more question about how your firewall & router are configured that make sure that such addresses are properly routed to your wildfly machine.

It depends upon your network configuration, but addresses ending in .0 are normally considered to be the network identifier or network address.

On many OSes you can ping w.x.y.0 and get responses from all active devices on that subnet.

Similarly, addresses ending in .255 are normally used as the network broadcast address.

Is WildFly capable of receiving packets from a .0 address? There's no reason it should not. However routing any response may be problematical.
