I've done an upgrade vom 11 to 17. All is fine except the hot-deploy which is broken now. Deploying does work once after restart of the server. I'm getting this error 2019-08-16 16:13:14,940 ERROR [org.jboss.msc.service.fail] MSC000001: Failed to start service jboss.deployment.unit."xxxxxxx.war".component.CronJobs.START:… Show more

I'm preparing to upgrade my WildFly domain cluster from 10 to 17. I've downloaded and installed WildFly 17.0.1 and just started it in domain mode, but when opening the web management console I'm getting a lot of "500 Server Error" responses for requests to /management (see attachment). I cannot find any related log on the server. How can I… Show more
Hi All, we are using Jboss AS 6.0. This approach was working fine for the valid context-root of Jboss. Say, I have the context-root for Jboss configured as '/abc'. Headers are being returned for all the GET requests made for the URL http://ip:port/abc/ Now, am expecting these configured headers to be returned for '/' context-root … Show more

The fix for [MODULES-392] java.se module doesn't take into account all modules that it "requires" - JBoss Issue Tracker should solve this issue.
Dear all, I have an application in form of ear and war files deployed under Wildfly 14. I have been working on wildfly for a while (around 4 years) and this is the first time, I need to add a jar to my ear, but at run-time without restarting the application server or hot deploy my application. Thus, I am thinking to add the new jar as a module… Show more
You can place a new (static) module into the modules path at runtime. However, if you want the resources in that module to be accessible/usable from within your deployed application, you will have to add a dependency to that module within your application. And to do that will involve redeploying your application.
We recently upgraded from jboss-eap-6.4 to Wildfly 16. Most things worked fine until we find one issue in the case that a method that is called using TransactionTemplate with TransactionDefinition.PROPAGATION_REQUIRES_NEW is not working... The case is that: we use this PROPAGATION_REQUIRES_NEW transaction to commit a log of login failure,… Show more
I don't have enough knowledge of what's going on in here. But you seem to have debugged it enough to narrow it down to a specific piece of code. Plus you also say that this used to work in EAP 6.4 (although with certain warn messages). So I think it's best to open a JIRA request here - JBoss Issue Tracker and explain the issue and provide an…

The problem that I'm facing is that it's returning an access denied error to the folder. I've tried a lot of workarounds but with no success. Does anyone have any idea what… Show more
