stateful session bean as a webservice (JBoss 4.0.3)???

Hallo,

I'm trying to implemet stateful session bean as a webservice because I want to migrate old implementations (JBoss 3.2.3) to JBoss 4.0.3
In dokumentaion (admin book) I can find only examples and descriptions of web services on base of stateless beans.

Is it possible to make it available as a web service in JBoss 4.0.3?
What I have to do for this stuff?

You can only expose Stateless Session Beans as web services according to the spec.

Keep in mind that web services are stateless, and that if you want to use a stateful session bean, you have to use it in a stateless manner, or you have to figure out a way to associate the state with multiple invocations.

Either way you must wrap the SFSB with either an SLSB or a JSE (the POJO endpoint)

Have a look at WS-Addressing, which is already supported by JBossWS-1.0Beta
