How about fixing some of the issues with the v1.0 and v1.1 X

With the v1.2 XSD, how about fixing some of the issues we know exist ? For example, the fact that you can define maxThreads for a gateway, even though it's not applicable. What else?

Now that we are deferring the http gateway work we will have time to sort this out.

As for maxThreads, it is applicable to at least one gateway that I know of so we cannot just remove it from them all.

We should doc where it's not applicable then (even better would be for those gateway implementations to issue a warning if they see the value set.)
