    JBoss, Spring and JSR 170

    Farshid Zaker Newbie

      Hi,
We are planning to start a document and record management system. In the beginning phase, we are inspecting choices for underlying layers. Till now, our preferences are :
      1. JBoss AS
      2. Spring

Problem: We need to use a JSR 170 (or something like that!) implementation. We have considered JackRabbit and Jeceira are not yet mature enough to be used in an enterprise application. CRX is too expensive and the only other one I found is eXo platform.

      Questions:
      1. Is there any other open source implementation, suitable for enterprise level?
      2. Is it possible to use eXo JSR 170 implementation together with JBoss and Spring? If yes, how could we select from duplicate services like Transaction service?
      3. I have considered a jboss project named Shotuko. Could it be helpful for our project?

      Best Regards,
      Farshid Zaker

What has this got to do with this forum?
If you need consulting, see http://www.jboss.com/services/index.

You mean such questions could not be answered in any forum and I should pay for it? It seems odd to me!

All I'm saying that what you want is consulting = telling you what and how to do _your_ stuff.

So your saying that I should look up this for you?

I don't see this as an eXo forum.

So, it seem to me that you basically missed forum. Use Shotuko forum.

ps: your post has nothing to do with what JBoss/Spring is actually about: http://java.sys-con.com/read/180386.htm

I appreciate your response. But when I post a question in a forum, I expect to receive answers from those who have previous experiences in the context of question. Take a look at http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=42133#217651. Some people have already looked it up for themselves, not for me.

Of course I don't see too. But isn't there any jboss related stuff? May be some members of this forum have done it before...

Any way, I had heard that JBoss is going Microsoft way. Maybe your problem is due to existence of names like "eXo" in my posting.
