Unfortunately you cannot use hbernate2 for jBPM. I personnaly do not know however, if with good classloading tricks, hibernate 2 could be used completely outside jBPM for other things. Sorry, I just do not know. Maybe you should also ask in the hibernate forums if coexistence is possible.
