I am using JBoss Portal 2.0 with JBoss 4.0.2 and JDK 1.5.0_03 on Linux.

I am using an apache front end and connecting via mod_jk to my JBoss instance. I am using mod_ssl and auth_ldap with apache.

Is it possible to use the servlet REMOTE_USER value as user_id with JBoss Portal portlets or must I have a 2nd login screen? Thanks,
