Can't use oncomplete with IE6

Hi there!
I have a commandButtom that calls my modalPanel.
But only works with Firefox...

<a4j:commandButton
 value="..."
 actionListener="#{ManterLocalizacao.consultarAction}"
 oncomplete="Richfaces.showModalPanel('mymodal'); return false;" />

The problem seems related with oncomplete function, because if I change the component (as shown below), works:

<h:commandButton
 value="..."
 actionListener="#{ManterLocalizacao.consultarAction}"
 onclick="Richfaces.showModalPanel('mymodal'); return false;" />

I major problem is that I can't close my modalPanel using oncomplete... and I need it, to use a4j:actionparam...

I search form bugs (RF-963) and topics related but all is fixed/resolved (?)...

Someone can cast a light, please?

I'm using Richfaces 3.2.2, Facelets 1.1.14 and JSF 1.2

Hi nbelaevski! sorry for the long post, but the log is long... :)

Below is the log, when I click the buttom on IE.
I noticed error message on final, but cant figure out what it is...
When I hit the buttom using Firefox, there's not error message, only debug messages.

Hi there!

I decomposed my pages and discovery the component that caused all the trouble: my template.jspx had a tag inside my modalPanel that stoped IE to work with datascroller's step controls and to open my modal from 'oncomplete' event...

Well... sorry for taking some time from anyone...
The problem is resolved now, even the reason for the problem still unclear to me.
