I think I read somewhere on these forums that the release date of Seam 1.0 is Q3 2006.
Yes , the same question: when final release of Seam? Gavin answer me is : Q3 2006.
But I konw now you can see new feature "remoting(ajax)" in cvs code of seam.
I think you'll find the current stability of beta 2 perfectly acceptable for an initial production release in May.
Beta 2 is intended to be a stable platform for dev. The only reason we have not gone 1.0 yet is that we do not have portal integration done yet.
1.0 goes final as soon as we have portal integration done (Roy is working on it now). This will probably happen in late Q2, but definitely by early Q3.
(Hehe, some large customers are now starting to pressure us to get the portal stuff done ASAP.)
Thank you for your answers.
Now we can start our developments with a nice tool ! :-)
I want to know , what that integration mean ?
Does it means that , with beta 2 we can not develop jsr-168 portlets ?
yes, that is what it means.
