Add a tag around the rule file name.
Please update doco on
12.4.2. Configuring a rules file
Seam Security expects to find a RuleBase component called securityRules which it uses to evaluate permission
checks. This is configured in components.xml as follows:
JBoss Seam 1.1.6.GA 129
Once the RuleBase component is configured, it's time to write the security rules.
< v a l u e >/META-INF/security-rules.drl</ v a l u e >
can you please post an elaborative example? I'm having a trouble getting the file upload to work. Is it mandatory to use Tomahawk components?
besides the upload filter isn't bundled with JBoss-seam.jar
i'm using version 1.1.6.GA
Sorry but I am trying to stay 100% with the IceFaces suite as I am trying to create an example app using all their components (to upload to wiki).
I have implemented the upload component from there.
Now just waiting till IceFaces new release comes out when it might work.
You know that Seam has a built-in fileUpload control, right?
It came in after I had the icefaces one coded (+progres bar).
In fact the seam one has the ability to filter the file type that the user can attach and as such has more funtionality (A feature I asked for in the IceFaces forum)
If you say Seam is IceFaces compatable; then theirs better work too.
The "Seam+Icefaces" Alpha Tester
Its not like I am in rush for it to work...
I still have to learn and add to my project Image Manipulation (today thanks to the new seamspace project!), Drools Rules (now I have reworkedall my bespke secuirty to use Seam Security), Email Templating, IceFaces Tree, iText (PDF), jBPM (for processes that run over multiple users and sessions), iceFaces Graphs....
Ok thx, I'll try 1.1.6
oops wrong topic
