Try deploying the web service as a WAR rather than a EAR...
Thanks I could deploy the WAR and could see the service through localhost/jbossws, but when I am creating a client along with it and trying to deploy the ear I am getting the following error, that application.xml is not found
So it is a known bug? Is there any bug registered for this?
Do you have any samples(links) of a stanalone client that would invoke this web service?
Does your EAR project source contain a META-INF/application.xml
Heres an example ...
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <application xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee" xmlns:application="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/application_5.xsd" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee/application_5.xsd" id="Application_ID" version="5"> <display-name>TestWS</display-name> <module> <web> <web-uri>TestWS.war</web-uri> <context-root>TestWS</context-root> </web> </module> </application>
Thanks Noelo for the pointer. I first created a Ent proj and then app client module, this way application.xml got generated. Its Eclipse magic.
Appreciate your help.
