The generation is done with jasper reports. Currently the report is provided as output stream, which is fed into the rich:mediaOutput component.
I would like to have the pdf embedded on a modal panel because I have additional controls attached to it. For that reason a solution with iframe is not acceptable. -

After many attempts with mediaOutput, I finally do it using mojarra scales.

My goal was to use the sc:download component to make a link which will open a download dialog and user can open the pdf with some acrobat reader or anything he has installed.
The problem is I have the pdf as OutputStream. And the download component needs byte[]. -
