as far as I know Tomcat is supported (I have successfully deployed it to Tomcat 6). There is even Tomcat integration package that provides some authentication mechanism to be able to connect to jBPM tables - they are slightly different than Tomcat JDBC realm configuration assumes.
You can use Tomcat 6.0 with jbpm-4.3 as it works perfectly without any problem. for more information you can refer this link
just run ant demo.setup.tomcat in jbpm4.3/install
you will see.
for interest, can I ask did you get JBPM4.3 working successfully with JBoss 4.2.2?
I am trying to get it deployed as a service on Jboss 4.2.3 and getting various errors in the JBoss startup log, e.g.
DeploymentException: No ClassLoaders found for: org.jboss.jms.server.destination.QueueService
org.jbpm.JbpmException: couldn't parse jbpm configuration from resource 'jbpm.cfg.xml'
...Caused by: org.jbpm.JbpmException: no ObjectInfo class specified for element 'import'
I haven't seen any forum posts from anyone who has got it working successfully, and I just wondered what your experience was.
Since this is a topic about Tomcat, I suggest you start a new one. In that new topic, post more than just the errors. Full stacktraces often tell more (e.g. where the exception comes from)
I didnt see any issue with JBPM4.3 in jboss4.2.2
we are using spring tech in our application.
please send me the exception trace.
but PLEASE in another topic!!!!!.... No cluttering of topics please
I will post in a new topic if I still have trouble after a bit more trying.
