Thanks for the reply. I am still having trouble understanding how the LDAP configuration settings are suppossed to match a typical LDAP string. Has anyone configured JON for LDAP that may be able to shed some more light on this? Specifically, How would the following string be adapted to the JON LDAP settings? uid=tbpadmin,ou=appids,ou=admin,dc=uhc,dc=com
The below reply is courtesy of Simeon Pinder who's currently unable to login to jboss.org:
Make sure that i) Search Base is set to valid value like 'dc=uhc,dc=com' ii)Username is set to 'uid=tbpadmin,ou=appids,ou=admin,dc=uhc,dc=com' iii)login property is 'uid' ... then your connection should work. If that doesn't work, make sure that the value that you put into 'Username' is a valid ldap search paramater and does return ldap results through another ldap client as well.
Hi and THANKS! Ian, I followed the instructions and JON is synched with LDAP! Thanks all who wrote!
