1. Re: Does RHQ have a REST API? Or any plans for?
ips Aug 13, 2010 9:26 AM (in response to ozizka)No, but it does have a web services API, a Java remote API, and a CLI (which leverages the Java API).

mazz Aug 13, 2010 9:27 AM (in response to ozizka)No REST API and currently there are no plans.
However, Greg and myself prototyped a WebDAV interface (which is sorta "REST-y") and I blogged about that work here:
http://management-platform.blogspot.com/2009/06/managed-resources-exposed-via-webdav.html
The code is still in git:
http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=rhq/rhq.git;a=tree;f=modules/enterprise/gui/webdav-war;hb=master
This was just a prototype and there are no plans to incorporate it in the release. Probably the only way we'd be able to get anything like this in the release would be through someone in the community contributing the feature.
