VPE Dependencies on jdt.core necessary ?

Hi, I tried to put the vpe docbook editor in my RCP app and noticed that it has an awful list of dependencies including jdt.core etc.

Could this be reduced or are these dependencies really necessary ? I would refuse to deploy jdt.core in an rcp app that doesnt need it otherwise.

For now DocBook Editor is a bit customized Visual Page Editor(see https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-6600 ), which supported extra docbook tags. We have couple of issues to make it more lightweight. For example this one https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-7058 .Also I have created an issue related to this post see https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-7227 .Have you founded any other aspects of docbook editor working, CA,or smth else?
