I have created a client using dbservice.xml and looked up my JNDI using data source java:/mysql but unable to access it ?? Please point me what might be changes needed in the XML ?? In addition in new version I can access the JNDI by adding <java-context ..> tag in latest -ds.xml but not able to access it in older version. Thanks!
3.0, a long, long time ago.
Why you use such old server? Are you able to use a >4.2 version?
Anyway, the *-ds.xml files are not completly different.
If you use the jndi-name element you should see java:/<YourName> with the JNDI view.
What is the error message, do you see the DS in the JNDIview and a JCA connector deployed?
