Thanks, we'll check this!
http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/fileUpload.jsf within the demosite environment you can't add more files than specified on the client side in both flash and non flash modes.
So seems you using older version. If you using latest one - provide your code.
you can't add more files
I did not meant the number of files, I meant the maximum allowed size of a file:
<init-param> <param-name>createTempFiles</param-name> <param-value>true</param-value> </init-param> <init-param> <param-name>maxRequestSize</param-name> <param-value>10000</param-value> </init-param>
At the moment, rich:fileUpload uploads also the files which exceeds the allowed maxFileSize (into temp-folder).
After uploading into temp-folder, the bean looks, if the file size exceeds the maxFileSize defined in web.xml.
If so, then sizeErrorLabel occurs and the file will not be stored into UploadItems.
Would be nicer, to avoid the fileupload of such files from the beginning .
I do not mean the maxFilesQuantity, I mean maxFileSize(=maxRequestSize).
Sorry.. got it.. but this is just browser related question. we do not know the size of file in non-flash mode.
Oh, but you know the size of file when flashMode is enabled.
Imagine I have flashMode enabled, then it would be nice to avoid the fileUpload from beginning when maxRequestSize exceeds. So this can integrated only for flashMode enabled. I create a issue..
yes.. feel free to submit RFC for flash mode.
