Failed to resolve global element binding, JBoss 6 CR1

Hi guys. I have such problem. When I try to deploy I get the following error:

"org.jboss.xb.binding.JBossXBRuntimeException: Failed to resolve global element binding {http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee}jboss"

No idea what could be the reason. I attach the error stack, web.xml and my jboss.xml. Hope for your help very much... Thanks in advance!

By the way, upgrading to JBoss AS 6.0.0.Final would be a good idea.

Unfortunately changing the version as suggested in that link didn't help.

Please post the new jboss.xml that you are using and also the excpetion stacktrace (even if it the same as the one you mentioned earlier) that you see in JBoss AS 6.0.0.Final.

Hi John,

the xml header should be:

        <jboss xmlns="http://www.jboss.com/xml/ns/javaee"
             xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
             xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.jboss.com/xml/ns/javaee
                            http://www.jboss.org/j2ee/schema/jboss_5_0.xsd"
             version="5.0">

You will find the correct xsd (from which this header is copied) in "client\jboss-metadata-ejb.jar\schema\jboss_5_0.xsd"
