1. How to configure one Apache 2.2.15 server for 2 instances of jboss
jesse.hazen Apr 5, 2011 4:21 PM (in response to astalwar)1 of 1 people found this helpful2 IP's on the JBoss server, 2 deployment directories, right?
If so, start 2 JBoss instances, one for eah IP.
http://community.jboss.org/wiki/ConfiguringMultipleJBossInstancesOnOnemachine
Then point Apache accordingly to one webapp if IP A is hit, and another webapp if IP B is hit.

4. How to configure one Apache 2.2.15 server for 2 instances of jboss
astalwar Apr 14, 2011 3:03 PM (in response to astalwar)Solution. Many ways to skin this cat.
I was able to bring up 2nd instance of jboss 4.4.3 on same h/w server. installing this as separate service
Then i took apache 2.2.15 httpd and installed it as a separate service listening only to 2nd URL's IP address
In its workers.properties i created a node to point to 2nd jboss instance and port 8009 using mod_jk again.
And used uriworkermap.properties to point to the app for node 2.
