Finite State Machine - Is jBPM the good tool for me ?

Hello,

I'm currently working on a software project. I need to implement a process which looks more like a finite state machine than a workflow.
Can I implement Finite state machine using jBPM API ?

I need to precise that I will only use the API. I don't need a graphical tool and the user won't change the process himself.

Hello,
Yes you can. You can even use it together with rules from drools or even drools per se if you want, with no jbpm.
